Sterling silver contains 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of other metals. The Sterling silver standard has a minimum fineness of 925 and is therefore often referred to as 925 Silver.

14ct Goldfilled is made by fusing a layer of 14ct gold to a suitable supporting metal or alloy. It wears like carat gold because its outer surface is solid gold and offers all the same physical characteristics as carat gold such as beauty, durability, and strength. Goldfilled is substantially thicker than the traditional gold plated jewelry.

9ct gold is slightly harder than 18ct gold because there is less pure 24ct gold. 9ct contains 37.5% pure gold hence also sometimes referred to as 375 gold.

Love Your Jewellery!

Please treat your jewellery with care. Our pieces are made to last more than just one season and if you take care of them, they will bring you happiness for years to come. Silver will tarnish when exposed to air. To reduce tarnish and prevent scratches and stains we recommend you keep your silver and gold jewellery in an airtight protective jewellery box or bag. When storing, keep each piece of jewellery separate to avoid marks and entangling. Silver and gold will polish up by rubbing it with a very soft cotton fabric, or a treated polishing cloth. Be gentle.
